Metairie, LA – (November 20th) In a dramatic ending, CCFC was able to come away with another 3 points versus the uptown outfit, winning 4-2.

The first half favored CCFC, who would have a slew of opportunities, but none would find the back of the net. Pool Boys force CCFC to a stale mate at home

New Orleans, LA – (November 11th) A windy Sunday evening in New Orleans saw a very card heavy evening as both teams accumulated 7 yellow cars and two send offs, leaving both sides with a 0-0 draw.

The contest started out with a very press heavy Alexandria side forcing the home team out of their comfort zone of building from the back and offered a few early chances for Pool Boys. In the 3rd minute, Nicolas Mbougou of Pool Boys FC, showed off his pace early as he streaked down the sideline, sending in a cross that created a scramble in the CCFC box.

CCFC was able to find an early opportunity in the 17th minute that would have put the New Orleans boys up 1-0, thanks to some crafty play by Miles Hegedus and Eddie Choe, but the flag came up for a handball from Hegedus, erasing Choe’s early goal.

The rest of the first half saw both teams lock in each other with no real chances until the 44th minute when a cross sent in by Alexandria was left unattested and was nearly finished to put the away team up 1-0. An unfortunate bounce in the turf saved CCFC from going down right before the halftime whistle.

Coach Peralta adjusted his lineup for the second half which gave the home team the edge in possession and being effective in the final third. Although the opportunities presented themselves, the turf showed it did not play favorites after forcing Reece Wilson to stretch for a chance in the 63rd minute that sent his shot flying over the cross bar.

Two red cards were shown in the final 20 minutes of the contest with both Nicolas Mboungou of Alexandria and Leo Barros of CCFC being sent off. The second half would end leaving both teams with a point to take home.

Crescent City takes care of business in first home opener v. Mobile United

New Orleans, LA – (November 4th) Crescent City FC opened their home campaign against Mobile United Sunday evening and did so by gifting the home crowd with 7 goals and a waltz to the top of the table.

The visitors were able to fend off CCFC for the first 20 minutes of the contest, but Axell Fuentes and Jesus ‘Chuy’ Rivera proved to be too much for the Mobile squad in the first half.
